TRAVEL IN TOWN TO THE CONFERENCE SITE
Here are some directions to reach Politecnico di Milano Campus Bovisa.
The best way to reach the Bovisa Campus of Politecnico is by suburban train. There are two stations extremely close to the Campus, namely "Milano Bovisa Politecnico" and "Villapizzone". Both stations can be reached starting from any subway station of the city underground network. The "Milano Bovisa Politecnico" station is connected via the suburban lines S1, S2, S3, S4 and S10, while the "Villapizzone" station is connected via the suburban lines S5 and S6 (see PDF map).
Suburban lines S1, S2, S5, S6 and S10 run across the city and are connected to the underground lines: line 1 (red line) at "Porta Venezia" station, line 2 (green line) at "Garibaldi" station and line 3 (yellow line) at "Repubblica" station. Travel time from "Porta Venezia" to either "Milano Bovisa Politecnico" or "Villapizzone" is about 12 minutes.
Suburban lines S3 and S5 depart from "Cadorna" station, connected to the underground lines 1 and 2. In addition to suburban lines S3 and S5, all other trains leaving Cadorna stop at Bovisa station, after a 7 minutes travel and an intermediate stop at "Milano-Domodossola".
The ticket costs 1 and allows transfer from the underground to the trains, you will just have to stamp it again (machines at the beginning of the quay or at the train station entrance). Tickets can be bought at most newsstands or at automatic vending machines in the underground stations.
